On the night of Thursday 23rd May, we welcomed in our new Chieftain, John Harley at the Chieftain’s Ball. The event was held for the second year at The Westin, Mina Seyahi and once again they did us proud with excellent food and service.

Our favourite ceilidh band Bahookie were back to entertain us for the third year running with their modern take on ceilidh music which saw us doing the traditional dances of Strip the Willow, Gay Gordons and The Dashing White Sergeant to a variety of songs including Prodigy, Queen and Cold Play mashed together with the usual tunes that you would expect to hear at a ceilidh. Needless to say, the dance floor was packed all night long.

Here are some photos from the night. Smiling faces all round speaks for itself really. Click on the thumbnails to view and please do share to Facebook, Twitter or wherever you like.
